Over the course of my 30-year career, I have gained experience in both technical and managerial positions that have helped me grow as an engineer, leader, mentor, husband, and father.  On the technical side, I can “get into the weeds” regarding subject matter in the Geosciences, and my experience as part of a preconstruction team at a specialty foundation and ground improvement contractor gave me the opportunity to hone my professional sales skills while challenging my knowledge of geotechnical issues on a routine basis.  Now, after assignments across a broader spectrum in engineering, management, and organizational leadership, I demonstrate my value by leading groups of professionals toward the common objective of helping clients achieve their strategic goals.  I do this by fostering a client-centric culture that, when coupled with thoughtful investments in business development, brand awareness, team-building, and professional development, can deliver long-term growth and profitability while creating a desirable workplace environment.  Drawing from thousands of interpersonal interactions, many lessons learned, and a host of creative ideas in the making, I look to bring positive impact to the world while equipping future generations with the strategic thinking and problem-solving skills they’ll need to make a difference.
